Relativistic Black Hole Lab

A scientific-computing project for studying and rendering null geodesics near black holes.

Status: In progress

Overview

Relativistic Black Hole Lab is a computational project around Schwarzschild and Kerr spacetimes, null geodesics, ray tracing, and accretion-disk visualisation. Its public description is limited to technical design, validation, and reproducible results.

Motivation

The project is a compact setting in which geometry, numerical integration, and image formation meet. It is designed as a learning and scientific-computing workspace, not as a claim of a new physical result.

Physics

Future notes may explain coordinate choices, conserved quantities, null geodesic integration, and simplified disk-emission models. The relevant assumptions should sit beside each rendered result.

Implementation

The implementation section is reserved for numerical methods, tests, performance measurements, and reproducibility notes. Code links can be added later if and when they are suitable for public release.

Future work

Document validation cases, add controlled render comparisons, and publish a small reproducible experiment.
